Runners and walkers start to arrive to the start line of the inaugural Geist Half Marathon & 5K.

High winds in the early morning of May 17th created problems for event organizers trying to set up the start line structure. Once the start line was assembled, we noticed that it was not level on top. We took the structure down and realized that one of the “L” beams was upside down.
