They are seniors Eric Ahearn, Alicia Barnes, Bradley Baughman, Alexa Dorris, Richard Freije, Lindsey Saxton, Michael Schevitz and Friedrich Strnat. Commended students are those who placed in the top 5 percent of students who entered the 2008 Merit program by taking the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test as juniors.
