On Monday, March 24th Dr. Copper, Superintendent of Lawrence Township Schools, recommended Mrs. Danielle Shockey to be the permanent Principal for Forest Glen. The School Board unanimously approved her appointment. Mrs. Shockey has most recently been serving as the interim principal at Forest Glen.

Mrs. Shockey received an M.S. degree in Elementary Education from Indiana University. Her B.S. degree in Elementary Education with a Special Education endorsement is from Ball State University.

Danielle has served in many leadership roles including assistant to the principal at Sunnyside Elementary and Forest Glen International School. She also has experience teaching in grades 4, 5 and special education.

Lawrence Township is excited about her continued leadership to the students and families of Forest Glen Elementary.
