I am forwarding a message to you that I sent to one of my neighbor’s last week. I’m just too drained to keep writing and re-writing it. I’m getting desperate here. My mom is in the hospital again, (#3 since Dad died) and yes, this is the same dog I was trying to find a home for a couple of years ago. Dad took her over and she was his for the past year and a half. I am at my wits end. Lucy will be put to sleep on Saturday unless I can line up a home for her. This is breaking my heart, but I really have no choice. The Hamilton County human society won’t take her unless she’s a stray. They aren’t accepting surrenders right now. That’s great, except for the fact that she’s micro-chipped. Kind of hard to pass her off as a stray. I’m working with about 7 rescues, but none of them are having any success.

If you know of ANYONE, anyone who might be interested in meeting Lucy, please let me know. She’s a really great dog, and has a lot going for her.
