Summer enrollment of students new to Hamilton Southeastern Schools takes place at different times and places according to students’ grade levels.

• Grade K-8 schools will stop registering new students at individual buildings after Friday, June 13.  Parents can then sign up K-8 students between July 8 and 22 at the Lantern Road Elementary office during scheduled enrollment days and times: Tuesdays, July 8, 15, 22, from 2-7 p.m.; Wednesdays, July 9, 16, from 2-7 p.m.; and Thursdays, July 10, 17, from 7 a.m. – 1 p.m.  Enrollment returns to individual buildings on July 24.
• High school (Grades 9-12) Guidance Departments will schedule appointments with new students to complete registration throughout the summer. To make appointments, call HSE High School at 594-4293 or Fishers High School at 915-4293.

Documents to bring to enrollment are outlined on the HSE website at www.hse.k12.in.us.  Click on “District Information” and then “Enrolling Your Child.” The same location will help you determine the school your child will attend as well as the process to follow if you are moving to but not yet living in the district.

Parents are encouraged to complete the enrollment process as early as possible to help the district prepare for the expected large number of new students. Families who enroll after August 1 are not guaranteed bus transportation for the first three days of school. The district will attempt to schedule transportation for late enrollees after that date; however, the priority will be to accommodate students enrolled prior to August 1. The first day of school for students is August 11.
