Once a year, Indianapolis goes to Greece for the weekend!
Come join us at the 34th Annual Indianapolis Greek Festival on Friday, September 7 from 4-11 pm and Saturday, September 8 from Noon-11 pm, at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 4011 N. Pennsylvania Street , Indianapolis. Our phone number is 283-3816.
Regarded by many as the premier ethnic festival in Central Indiana because of the array of food, pastries (yum!), music, dancing and its longevity. Awarded the prestigious “Sagamore of the Wabash” by the Governor of Indiana, its tradition is long-standing.
Would you like to taste appetizers, gyros, kebobs, baklava, greek salads, rum balls, pastries (many more), or a full-course dinner? We’ll you can do all. From the Athenian Market, to the indivdual food stands, to the famous pastry lines, you’ll enjoy the experience. And don’t forget to sample the Saganaki “flaming cheese”! Just open wide and say “OPA”!
There will be live music, dancing, church tours, cooking demonstrations, and a marketplace. Park and ride the free trolley each night from 5-11:30 pm.
General Admission is $5 and children under 12 are free with an adult. Pre-event ticket books are $15 and includes 15 - $1 food & drink tickets and includes a free admission ticket - a $20 value! Pre-event ticket books can be purchased at these locations: http://www.indygreekfest.org/Tickets.

I’m a 18 year veteran of the Greek Festival. It’s a wonderful event! A great place to meet friends and enjoy a little Greek culture and food. I’ve visited Greece 9 times (I’m not Greek) and find that the Greek Festival helps me remember fond memories of my travels to that wonderful land.

We’ve never attended, but you make it sound like so much fun, we’ll just have to go. Of course this is in lieu of a dreamed of cruise to the Greek Isles!
