Although many of Ironwood Golf Club’s 27 holes were under water, the “Fore the Kids” Golf Tournament was a success!  Thirty-six foursomes turned out on June 5th to help raise money for the students of Lawrence Township.  Net proceeds are estimated to be $20,000, which helps the Lawrence Township School Foundation fund educational programs that are not covered by tax dollars.

Contributing sponsors for the tournament were:  Repro Graphics Inc., Burd Ford, City Securities Corporation, Coca-Cola, Monarch Beverage & GT South’s.  This was the 22nd year for “Fore the Kids” and offers parents, district staff and vendors a chance to enjoy a fun day of golf while supporting Lawrence Township students.
