Chase Bank at 116th and Olio Robbed, Driver at Large

The Fishers Police Department is investigating an armed robbery that occurred at the Chase Bank, 11610 Olio Road in Fishers. A male suspect entered the bank at approximately 11:30 am and demanded money from the teller. The man exited the bank with an undetermined amount of cash.
Officers responding to the call located the suspect vehicle driving west on 116th Street. The suspects fled from officers west on 116th Street then south on Brooks School Road. The suspects turned into the Brookston Place sub-division and abandoned their vehicle. Two suspects were seen running from the vehicle. Officers set a perimeter and began to search for the two men.
Witnesses inside the bank told investigators that the suspect ran into the lobby of the bank wearing all dark clothing and a dark ski mask. The suspect displayed a handgun and demanded money from a bank employee. The suspect was very aggressive and verbally threatened everyone in the bank while pointing the handgun. He took an undetermined amount of cash from the teller and ran out of the bank. He ran to the rear of the bank and got into a blue Chevrolet driven by an unknown male. The vehicle left the parking lot and drove west on 116th Street. No one inside the bank was injured.
The first suspect was located hiding on the property of an animal clinic on Fall Creek Boulevard. He admitted to investigators that he robbed the Chase Bank. Suspect #1 is a 17 year old juvenile. The second suspect is the 16 year old brother of suspect #1. Suspect #2 drove up to Fall Creek Boulevard to pick up his brother. He will not face criminal charges. The third person detained was found jumping a fence in the Brookston Place sub-division. He was not involved in the robbery and will not face charges. Police are still looking for the driver of the car.
The car was reported stolen out of Ft. Wayne, Indiana on May 17th, 2008. The paper license plate on the vehicle was stolen out of Indianapolis. Officers located the cash taken in the robbery on the property of the animal clinic. The investigation is ongoing.
