National Writers Conference Coming to Fishers
Filed Under: Towneposts
The WriteStuff Writers’ Boot Camp and Conference will be bringing their national writers program to the Fishers Conference Center on April 27th and 28th. Backed by Writers’ Digest Magazine and AuthorHouse Solutions, the WriteStuff Writers’ Boot Camp and Conference features two days of one-on-one workshops, classes, networking, and author mixers designed to inspire and further an author’s creative journey.
The Boot Camp is held on Friday, April 27th in the neighboring Hilton Garden Inn. Participation is limited to only 50 people so that each attendee receives the maximum amount of one-on-one instruction, feedback, critique, and advice from the WriteStuff’s professional staff. Friday evening, the WriteStuff will play host to a “Meet the Author” reception where authors from all over the Midwest will come and network with other authors and aspiring writers.
Saturday’s WriteStuff Writers’ Conference is an all-day instructional and inspirational program designed to further your personal or professional writing journey. Meet and learn from celebrity authors, professional book editors, literary agents, film writers and producers, and publishers. Fishers’ newest bookstore, Youngblood’s, will be the official bookseller at Saturday’s Conference.
Both days are open to the public. A full Boot Camp and Conference package is $349, the Conference Only package is $99 (if you register before March 27th). To register or learn more, visit WriteStuffWriters.com.
atFishers Sponsoring Writing Contest.
In conjunction with the WriteStuff Writers’ Boot Camp and Conference, atFishers.com is sponsoring the first annual “Young Voices Writing Competition”. We’re looking to inspire our young writers by sponsoring a short story contest for children ages 8-14 years old. Simply have your children fill out the entry form and mail it to atFishers.com by March 27th to be judged by the WriteStuff Writers’ Staff. The top three winners will be recognized at the April 28th Conference and recognized in the June “atFishers Community Newsletter”. Good luck kids!
