According to sources, the shooter was a 25 year old black male living in Windsong, Lovelle Boyd. Evidently he got into an argument with his father over a construction project and stormed out of the house in his father’s Blazer.

Police report that 50 year old Holly Corey of Crystal Pointe, the shooting victim at the BP Amoco at Oaklandon and Fox Road, died at 12:45 pm at Methodist Hospital. They don’t believe she knew the shooter, a 26 year old black male. It appears to be a random act.

Geist Patrol officer Couch responded to a shots fired 911 call this morning around 11:00 am at the BP Amoco at Fox and Oaklandon Roads. Witnesses say there was two shots and then a third at the BP Amoco before another shot was heard in the parking lot of the National City Bank.
